You will visit Nyungwe Forest National Park which is a home to chimpanzees and other primates like the golden monkeys, Angola colobus, vervet monkey, silver monkey, red tailed monkey and the olive baboon among others. You will also having an opportunity to see several bird species and will enjoy a canopy walk.

Day 1: Trabsfer to Nyungwe national Park
You will be picked by our representative from the airport/hotel and will be given a briefing about the tour. You will then be transferred by road to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Depending on the arrival time, you may have a nature walk around Gisakura tea estates.

Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk
You will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing ahead of chimpanzee tracking. You will track chimpazees and will have an opportunity to see other primates including the golden monkey, troops of Angola colobus, vervet monkey, silver monkey and the Olive baboon among others. You will also spot several bird species like the great blue turaco, the long tailed blue bird and the paradise fly catcher among others.
