After your breakfast, you will be briefed on what your 9 days Rwanda wildlife safari is all about and you have a city tour in Kigali which allows you to explore the genocide memorial museum, curio markets and the kimironko fruits. The Kigali city tour also covers visit to the Nyamirambo, handcraft village and many others. Later, head off to southwestern Rwanda to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

On this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a thrilling hike in search of Colobus Monkeys communities. During your hike you may also spot migratory bird-life including the Ross’ turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk and regal sunbird. Your 9 days Rwanda Gorilla and wildlife safari begins with breakfast and after, you join other visitors at RDB reception center for briefing on the set dos and don’ts that you have to follow while on a chimpanzee tracking, on this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a thrilling hike in search of chimpanzee communities. The Rwandan chimpanzee population is thought to consist of approx. 400-500 individuals, confined to the Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo Forest. Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their pant-hoots travel through the deep forest. During your hike you may also spot migratory birdlife including the Ross’ turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk and regal sunbird. Relaxation at the shore of Lake Kivu.

On this special day you will have the rare opportunity to observe the famous Rwandan mountain gorillas. Tracking the gorillas through the forested slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. You will get to the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for lunch, upon arrival at the Lodge for Lunch enjoy Lunch at the Hotel or in local restaurant in Musanze City later in the afternoon you will enjoy Community walk experiences and Banana Beer making experiences. On this day you will depart for Golden Monkeys Trekking to observe the famous Rwandan mountain in the Volcanoes National Park. Enjoy Lunch in the local restaurant, later proceed for Canoe ride in Mukungwa River, this experiences you shouldn’t miss when you are around the volcano NP.

Have breakfast and after, embark on a hike to Mount Bisoke and at the top have amazing views at the spectacular Crater Lake. The hike may take you 2 to 3 hours and comes with remarkable views of surrounding areas you will go to the park headquarters for briefings before start this tour.
